Facebook Brings Business Cards for Users |

Posted by Tech Revolve Hub on Sunday, March 5, 2023

Social networking giant, Facebook, always gives surprises to their users. Previous year they provide a unique feature, called timeline, and this year in the very first week they once again introduced an exciting thing to this timeline. Guess what ??

Facebook ties-up with British business card maker, Moo has resulted in an interesting development for its users. Facebook has introduced, what it refers to as Facebook business cards – a new feature on their social network’s new profile layout (i.e. with Timeline) that assigns every Facebook user with a unique business card.

The business card, like any business cards with a classic, squared corner appearance will contain the user’s details that he/ she has provided in their profile, along with an image.

How to avail this feature ?

To avail the feature, users can go to the About section on their timeline page. Once there, you can spot a tiny business card icon in the Contact Info section. Hovering over that icon, users can see a glimpse of what their business card would appear like (as shown in the figure below).

If what you see, catches your fancy then you can proceed over to the next step, which is printing the card. Here’s where Moo comes into action. Interestingly, first 50 Facebook cards for any user is free. Beyond that, users will be charged a small fee by Moo.

“Next, click on the offer and you’ll be taken to a card creation page. Your last 50 cover photo uploads will be imported onto the image side of the cards, along with your Facebook username and your location, plus a small thumbnail of your profile photo. With your Facebook cards, each card can have a different cover photo (up to 50 per pack) and you can remove any images you don’t want on your cards at this stage. The profile photo and username information will appear on every card on top of the cover image.” – Explaining the process further, Moo, in an official post.
